Charlotte is a HCPC-registered Clinical Psychologist specialising in complex emotional and relational needs, trauma, and neurodivergence - particularly ADHD and autism. She works with both children and adults, offering a warm, integrative approach that is tailored to each individual’s unique context and needs.
Charlotte supports people experiencing difficulties such as low mood, anxiety, and low self-esteem, helping them build understanding and make meaningful change. She is also experienced in providing therapy to individuals experiencing symptoms of psychosis, especially first-episode psychosis in young people (aged 14–35), and is trained in family approaches for psychosis.
A key area of Charlotte’s clinical interest is post-diagnostic work in neurodivergence. She works closely with individuals and families following a diagnosis of autism or ADHD, helping people to make sense of their neurodivergent identity, understand the implications of diagnosis, and navigate the emotional impact - particularly for those diagnosed later in life. She also works with parents to support their children’s development and wellbeing, fostering a collaborative and affirming therapeutic space.
Charlotte is trained in CBT for ADHD and has experience in the assessment and diagnosis of autism and ADHD. Her therapeutic practice draws on Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Schema Therapy, and is grounded in neuroaffirmative principles that promote self-understanding and acceptance.
Charlotte offers in-person appointments at our base in Alderley Park as well as offering remote sessions via zoom.
