Dr Louise Banham is an Associate for Taylor-Awenat alongside her private practice as a Clinical Psychologist in Surrey and London. Dr Banham qualified as a Clinical Psychologist in 2000 and has 18 years’ experience within the NHS working with adults in mental health, physical health and perinatal services. She subsequently moved into the corporate sector working for a global law firm as their in-house Psychologist, combining work as a therapist, career coach and advisor on mental health issues in the workplace. Her last role as Senior Clinical Lead was in the Charity sector where she was responsible for advising on mental health policies within schools across Sussex and for supervising Counsellors within those schools. Dr Banham now works solely in the private sector with individuals and couples, providing psychological therapy for mental health conditions, trauma, physical health problems, perinatal and fertility issues, relationship difficulties and work-related problems. She utilises a number of treatment models in her work including CBT, ACT, DBT, compassion-focused and attachment based therapy.
